Each family, couple, individual, etc, is unique in their own way. Photos aren’t meant to feel cookie cutter perfect & repeatable. They should tell a story that reflects who you are & the moments you are experiencing while in front of the camera. Sure, posed & smiling is an important shot & I get those too! But I’m also looking for ways to go deeper than that. The way your child touches your hand for reassurance in a new place. The way your partner looks at you the moment you say something goofy. The way you dive into your truest self when you’re doing something you love, or even simply being WITH someone you love. I look for it all.
